So many times our home internet goes down or slows down. It’s so frustrating, especially if my son has a homework assignment due, especially if I have to post a blog entry, especially if I have to do research, especially!!!
We’ve always had computer techies around to help us when computer shtuff complicates things. I never have to concern myself with all the logistics of the back end of the computer.
I just got the IMac last Christmas and there was so much to learn. I had to get use to the Macs, I used PCs since the beginning of my computer career. I had to get use to the little laptop keyboard and that pad that’s used instead of a mouse. I couldn’t grasp how you could go into a Starbuck’s and use your computer. Where’s the hookup? (I know, I know, I am lame!) I had to ask my friend how to do that, whether it be at any ‘ol coffee shop or location. She told me a little about what you have to do. I’d been at public libraries and airports where I’d been able to access the internet. I just looked around, saw others and gave it a try. It wasn’t too bad.
This might be some old stuff for you but for me, it was really enlightening to find places that offer this *free Wi-Fi*. You can just click the state you’re in and find the different free Wi-Fi high speed wireless internet access. Pretty cool, huh? And just for you, I Googled the keyword and found a couple more sites. Check it out and see which one works for you. (You’re welcome!) But keep in mind too, these connections may be open and unsecured, so be careful.
