#4 Don’t waste left overs
One of my pet peeves is having to throw away food. My kids are not fond of left overs, so I work hard to recreate new meals without them knowing it was yesterday’s dinner. I like to take my left over meat loaf and make a Shepahrd’s pie out of it. Once the meatloaf is all crumbled up and carrots and peas are added, covered with corn and mashed potatoes, they do not know the difference. Left over chicken or steak gets put into pasta, salads, or sandwiches.
